Day 1: Vancouver → Kelowna → Revelstoke
Distance: ~520–560 km | Driving time: ~7.5–9 hours (with scenic stops)
Your journey begins with a departure from Vancouver, leaving the coastal city behind and gradually transitioning into the wide-open landscapes of British Columbia’s interior.
As the scenery unfolds, lush green valleys give way to rolling hills, vineyards, and shimmering lakes. The route offers a beautiful contrast of ecosystems — from coastal rainforest to the warm, sun-filled Okanagan Valley.
A stop in Kelowna introduces you to one of BC’s most picturesque regions, known for its vineyards, lake views, and relaxed lifestyle. As the day continues, the road winds through mountain passes and forested valleys, leading you deeper into the heart of the Rockies.
By evening, you arrive in Revelstoke — a hidden alpine gem surrounded by towering peaks and fresh mountain air.
Day 2: Revelstoke → Glacier National Park → Yoho → Banff
Distance: ~280 km | Driving time: ~5–6 hours (with scenic stops ~8–9 hours)
This day takes you deep into the heart of the Canadian Rockies, where dramatic mountain passes, glaciers, and alpine lakes create one of the most scenic drives in Canada.
You will travel through multiple national parks, each offering unique landscapes — from towering peaks and avalanche corridors to vibrant turquoise lakes.
Day 3: Icefields Parkway & Columbia Icefield Experience
Distance: ~230–260 km round trip Driving time: ~5–6 hours | Total day: ~9–10 hours
Day 3, you travel along one of the most scenic drives in the world — the legendary Icefields Parkway.
Towering peaks, ancient glaciers, turquoise lakes, and untouched wilderness surround you at every turn. This is the true heart of the Canadian Rockies — raw, dramatic, and unforgettable.
This carefully paced day allows you to fully experience the region without rushing, combining iconic viewpoints with time for exploration and optional glacier experiences.
Day 4: Banff, Lake Louise & Moraine Lake
Distance: minimal | Total day: ~8–9 hours (relaxed pace)
After an adventurous glacier day, Day 4 is designed for a more relaxed and refined experience.
You will explore the most iconic lakes of the Canadian Rockies, where turquoise waters, towering peaks, and peaceful alpine landscapes create postcard-perfect moments at every stop.
This day is all about slowing down, enjoying the surroundings, and experiencing Banff at its most elegant and scenic.
Day 5: Banff → Scenic Lakes → Canmore → Calgary
Distance: ~2–3 hours | Total day: ~6–8 hours (relaxed pace)
Your final day is designed as a gentle and memorable conclusion to your journey through the Rockies.
